Diagnosis: Unknown.
Since Tuesday the 16th I have had swollen glands, over-sized tonssils, massive headaches, and great amounts of fatigue. I have gone to the doctor twice.. first she told me that I had swollen tonssils-- I already knew that! Thank you CAPTAIN OBVIOUS! She gave me numbing syrup. The 2nd time I went to the doctor was because the pain along with my swolleness had gotten 10x worse and the numbing syrup no longer took the pain away. He told me that if the strep test was negative then to just wait it out and rest. Greeeeeeeat!!!! He gave me 30 penecillin pills. I STILL do not have any idea as to why I am in so much pain buuuuut, hopefully I will soon be a million times better!

Relay For Life*
I believe that everybody needs a little bit of hope in their lives.
When I think of the word it brings me back to the Relay For Life event that is held during the summer to remember those who have survived or died from cancer. The Relay For Life symbolizes hope in so many ways. One very obvious thing is the fact that they take luminaries and spell out the word HOPE in big letters in the grandstands so that everyone who drives by or walks by can see it. People who have cancer hope and hope everyday that their sickness will end and that they will be healthy again. Family members of people who have cancer HOPE for the same exact thing to happen!
Walking around and seeing all of the luminaries lit up with someone's name on it is very powerful! You never really know how many people have to hope and pray to get better until you go to something like the Relay For Life.

B&B (:
So there's this place in Albert Lea, MN and it's a breakfast place just like.. hmmm Perkins? kinda! I personally think that it is the best place ever to go and sit down and eat your breakfast. My friends and I go there ALL THE TIME and got chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream. Mmmmmm (: It so good! Sometimes we'll go before school just because we can! It's sooo worth it to get up like a half an hour earlier and go eat there! Anyway.. I went there this morning with one of my bestfriends Bailey and we sat there and took our time eating our delicious pancake for about 2 hours! We had a sleepover the night before and to wake up and go eat that probably made my whole entire weekend! Ha! That's pretty much everything!!!..

Adaptation!
Adaptation is a process where something or someone becomes suited or used to its habitat. This could take awhile or not a lot of time at all! Adaptation could be something bad too.
In the book "Night" there are a TON of examples of how the people become adapted to all the negative things that happen in the concentration camps. Watching someone die in front of your face and then you being okay with it and not doing anything to help them not get killed or not helping them survive shocks me. But I suppose the Jews were so used to seeing death everyday that the only thing they could concentrate on was keeping themselves alive and healthy.
Animals can also adapt to their surroundings! For instance if its cold outside the migrate or hibernate to a warmer place and until it starts to warm up again. Or some birds have bigger beaks but other birds around the world could have smaller beaks because of the different uses of their beaks.

Humans vs. Animals
No single, difference separates human beings from other animals. For example, like humans, apes have well formed thinking. Their ways to start an argument, stay on a train of thought, draw conclusions and make guesses is very similar to how we do it too. Also like humans, apes have a certain language. Their vocabulary is HUGE, their grammar is complex, and their conversations are can get deep just like ours. The apes' ability to identify letters in writing has not been proved yet so were not sure how well they can read compared to humans. There was once an orangutan who argued that apes had evolved from humans, not the other way around. Apes also (again, like humans) have a goal in life. Apes also have a refined sense. They admire beauty and want to surround themselves with it. When an ape cultivates a garden, puts flowers in a vase, or hangs up a painting, what is it doing if not expressing a love of beauty? The sense of humor shared by all apes is another proof of their close resemblance to humans. Their love of a good laugh is plain from the popular ape jokes they tell.
